Digital Realty Closes CHF510 Million Swiss Bond Offering
Digital Realty raised CHF510 million through three tranches of Swiss bonds maturing in 2029, 2032, and 2036.
Digital Realty Trust (NYSE: DLR) announced Tuesday that it has closed a CHF510 million Swiss bond offering through Digital Constellation B.V., an indirect wholly-owned finance subsidiary of its operating partnership, Digital Realty Trust, L.P.
The offering comprised three separate tranches: CHF225 million in bonds carrying a 1.6803% coupon rate due in 2029, CHF185 million at 2.0600% due in 2032, and CHF100 million at 2.4150% due in 2036. The structure allows the Austin, Texas-based data center giant to spread its debt obligations across multiple maturities, a common approach to managing refinancing risk.

The staggered maturities across a roughly decade-long horizon suggest a strategic approach to liability management.
