Bybit Launches U.S. Stock and ETF Trading for Global Users
Crypto exchange Bybit now offers access to more than 1,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs, expanding beyond digital assets.
Bybit, the Dubai-based trading platform with a reported user base exceeding 80 million worldwide, announced the addition of U.S. stock and ETF trading to its platform, marking a significant expansion beyond its cryptocurrency roots. Eligible global users can now access more than 1,000 U.S.-listed securities through the same interface they use for digital asset trading.
The move positions Bybit alongside a growing number of fintech and crypto-native platforms that have sought to blur the line between traditional equities markets and digital finance. By consolidating stock and crypto access under one roof, the company appears to be targeting retail investors who previously needed separate brokerage accounts to hold both asset classes.

Among the available securities are shares of major U.S. companies such as Apple, according to the announcement. The breadth of the offering — spanning individual equities as well as exchange-traded funds — suggests the platform is catering to a range of investment strategies, from single-stock picking to diversified, passive approaches.
The announcement, made from Bybit's headquarters in Dubai, underscores the United Arab Emirates' growing role as a hub for crypto and fintech companies seeking regulatory environments amenable to hybrid financial products. Bybit did not disclose which specific regions or user categories would qualify for access under the eligibility requirements referenced in the launch.
